Ray is our firm’s founder which he started as a sole proprietor in 1969. In the early days of Pace Accounting, we only prepared personal income tax returns. Today we have grown to a full service accounting and tax practice in which his son and daughter have joined. Ray has a BBA from Pace University and an MBA from St. John’s University.
Jeanette has been with Pace Accounting since 1993 while attending Queens College where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Accounting. She handles both personal and corporate clients throughout the year. Staying tax compliant; Jeanette attends tax seminars with her colleagues during the year to keep up to date with tax law changes that may affect her clients.
Chris holds a BFA degree from NYIT. He worked on the hit NBC show “Third Watch” for 4 seasons as the Assistant Accountant. With accounting in his blood he decided to join Pace Accounting in 2004 as the company was expanding. His business clients range from Retail Stores in Soho and Brooklyn to Funeral Homes and Photography Studios throughout Queens.
George has been with Pace Accounting since 2001. Prior to that, George worked for Sony Corporation’s movie theatre division, “Loews Cineplex”, from 1991-2001. During his 10 year tenure at “Loews Cineplex”, George worked his way up the ladder. He began by working the concession stand at the Elmwood Theatre and later earned a supervisor position before eventually becoming the Manager at a larger movie theatre in Long Island, due to his hard work
Jacqueline has been working at Pace Accounting since 2008. Prior to Pace Accounting, Jackie worked for her parents business, Children New World, as a school bus driver & bookkeeper for ten years. When her parents sold the business, Jackie switched gears and was hired by Citibank as a head teller. After 3 years at the bank, she decided to move on. Jackie began working for
Nick has an Accounting degree attending the Borough of Manhattan’s Community College and Queens College. From his teen days of handling his parent’s books for their food vending business, Nick has always been involved with reconciliations and numbers. This geared him into accounting and he has never looked back. While in school, he was employed by Loews Cineplex Entertainment Inc., and graduated into a position as a Movie Theatre
Ricky Zurita graduated from William Cullen Bryant High School and will be attending Queens Borough Community College next September to study accounting. He wasn’t sure what path he wanted to follow in life until he started working at Pace Accounting. It turns out that he loves the work, the energy and can see a future in accounting. We are confident that Ricky will go far in his career and we are happy to help him reach his goals.
